Karachi Youth Festival 2018
The Tenth Karachi youth festival began form February 17 and will continue till 24 February, said by president of Art Council of Pakistan, Karachi Ahmed Shah During an opening ceremony of Karachi Youth festival.
The Eight-day festival seeks to give hope among the young people and youth, he
said we need youth have to come and take part in the arts and culture ideas to
the peace and betterment of Pakistan. Through this festival we want to finish all the bad activities from our societies and communities through arts and culture.
It is the only cultural youth festival which is celebrated in Pakistan every year and
these types of such festival aim to promote arts and we are providing emerging
young artist to work on their skills and
more enhance their skills for their better future.
In this Youth festival opening ceremony there was a live concert of Asim Azhar a Pakistani singer, people enjoyed a lot in his concert, he sung many Pakistani songs and audience cheers and enjoyed a lot.
The auditorium was full packed with the audience and many more people were in Que outside the auditorium they wished to hear Asim Azhar but while waiting outside they saw him though the display with Arts council has put outside the audience a huge number of people were outside.
Minister of information, Transport and Labor Naisr Hussan
shah was the chief guest at the opening ceremony of Karachi youth festival
2017-2018. He also spoke to the crowd towards the end of the festival. He said the we have to take ownership of the
festival as its organized for the all of you and your pariticaption will ensure
that how you are encouraging the management team and the Arts Council to do
more for you. He wishes very best for the youth festival .
The Festival involves many activities that participants
can choose form, these are singing, acting, Dancing, public speaking, Creative
Writing, Painting and Film-making etc. The auditions are also started and going
very well participants are energetic about the all categories competitions.
We wish as its started with the full energy we want this festival end with the full energy and Cheers.The more two live concerts are remaining a renowed signers are coming to Arts Council to perform in the Youth festival.
